ANCHOR FLASH.2
This item is sold in multiples of: 1
Description: Our Flash anchors are structurally optimized to be strong, lightweight, and low-profile, fitting smoothly into a deployment bag or turnout gear. Their ergonomic shape provides a firm, full-hand grip for rapid deployment and placement. The Flash escape anchors are rated to 13.5 kN, including the tip, which is angled for superior embedment, helping the anchor remain seated when load is applied and preventing rotation. The wide throat gives the Flash a high degree of compatibility and stability when hooked around load-bearing structures. Remote anchoring is straightforward with two quick loops around the gate on the Flash.G™ or a girth hitch through the hitching slot on the Flash.2™. Both the Flash.G and Flash.2 are available as options in CMC’s LEVR Escape System, a compact, reliable, and intuitive system that integrates with turnout gear and delivers safe, rapid egress. The Flash.G and Flash.2 are both classified to NFPA standards as Emergency Escape Anchors and Escape Descent Control Devices. This dual-classification allows advanced users to lower a victim and then lower themselves, a sequence referred to as the Byrne Technique after Firefighter and CMC School Instructor Kelly Byrne. The gated slot on the Flash.G is especially well-suited for this purpose. It is a key component in CMC’s LEVR BT Escape System, which is designed for efficiently executing the Byrne Technique.
